Visitors to choices found themselves inspired and motivated. The event was open to young people, families and teachers, It helped visitors to consider a range of careers and the various pathways to achieve future success. A visit ensured young people the best possible start to their career; they were encouraged to make good decisions based on impartial information and advice about their future.

All schools and colleges in Greater Manchester were invited to attend with free entry for students and teachers and access to a travel bursary fund. Online resources included a lesson plan, career match quiz, student passport and health and safety information, which removed any barriers ensuring great benefits that last long after the event.
A travel bursary was available to groups visiting the event: £100 – 45 students, £200 – 90 students, £1 bursary for every student over the first 90. This was applicable for educational establishments in Greater Manchester.
The evening opening on Wednesday from 5pm-7pm was open to anyone, but it was particularly relevant for parents and family groups, as it enabled important influencers, to get up-to-date help advice and guidance from the experts at the event.
